Overview
A bundle of skills, commands, agents, rules and Node.js hooks that structures academic research in Claude Code, from ideation and literature review through experiment analysis, reporting, paper writing and rebuttal. It integrates with Zotero via zotero-mcp and with an Obsidian vault for project notes. Separate branches cover Codex CLI, Kimi Code CLI and OpenCode.
Who it is for: CS and AI researchers using Claude Code for papers and experiments
Strengths
- Covers the full path: ideation, literature, experiments, analysis, reporting, writing, rebuttal
- Installer backs up overwritten files and records a manifest for safe uninstall
- Installs as a Claude Code plugin or by copying individual skills
- Separate branches for Codex CLI, Kimi Code CLI and OpenCode
Weaknesses
- Workflow is tuned for computer science and AI research, per the README
- Existing CLAUDE.md files must be merged by hand with the sidecar file
- Plugin install does not distribute rules or configure settings.json
- Zotero and Obsidian features need separate setup, including a zotero-mcp fork
What it needs
- no GPU
- Needs Claude Code, Git, Zotero (optional), Galaxy-Dawn/zotero-mcp (optional), Obsidian (optional), Python + uv (optional)
