Overview

SwiftUI Pro is a skill in the Agent Skills format that gives coding assistants rules for writing and reviewing SwiftUI. The rules cover API usage, navigation, layout, animations, state management, performance, VoiceOver accessibility and deprecated API, aimed at mistakes LLMs commonly make. It installs through npx or as a Claude Code plugin and is invoked with /swiftui-pro or $swiftui-pro.

Who it is for: iOS and Swift developers using AI coding agents to write SwiftUI

Strengths

  • Works with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor and others via the Agent Skills format
  • Installs with one npx command or as a Claude Code plugin
  • Can run a partial review, such as deprecated API only or accessibility only
  • Contribution rules keep SKILL.md short to limit token cost

Weaknesses

  • Covers SwiftUI only; SwiftData, concurrency and testing are separate skills
  • Targets iOS 26+ and Swift 6.4+, so older projects may get mismatched advice
  • Install via npx requires Node, which the README installs through Homebrew
  • No benchmarks or measured results are given for the rules

What it needs

  • no GPU
  • Needs Node.js (npx) for install, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor or another Agent Skills-compatible agent
  • Models: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor
