Overview
An IntelliJ platform plugin that wraps AI coding CLIs in a chat panel inside the IDE. It supports Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, plus several beta CLIs (Grok, Kimi, OpenCode, PI, OMP, DeepSeek Harness). Features include @file references, image input, conversation rewind, diff view, MCP servers, slash-command skills, permission controls and session history.
Who it is for: JetBrains users who want Claude Code or Codex inside the IDE
Strengths
- Single chat UI over Claude Code, Codex and six beta CLIs
- Session history with search, favorites, export and usage statistics
- Permission management, diff comparison and MCP server support
- Provider management compatible with cc-switch
Weaknesses
- JetBrains IDEs only; no VS Code or standalone version
- Most non-Claude, non-Codex engines are marked Beta
- macOS scrolling lag may need a JCEF GPU-disable VM option
- Requires the underlying CLIs and accounts; README does not document setup
What it needs
- no GPU
- Docker
- Needs IntelliJ IDEA / JetBrains IDE, Claude Code or other supported AI coding CLI, Node.js (ai-bridge, webview build)
- Models: Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Grok CLI, Kimi CLI, OpenCode
