Overview

Fulling is a Next.js and TypeScript app that is being rebuilt around persistent AI workspaces. The current v3 foundation provides GitHub-only sign-in via Better Auth, PostgreSQL-backed users and sessions, and storage of one kubeconfig per user, validated through Kubernetes SelfSubjectReview. The workspace features themselves (skills, files, memory, runtime) are the target model, not yet shipped.

Who it is for: Developers following the Fulling AI workspace rewrite on Kubernetes

Strengths

  • Kubeconfig validation rejects exec plugins, local file credentials, proxies, non-HTTPS servers and redirects
  • Public app builds and runs without env vars, PostgreSQL or an OAuth provider
  • Deploys on Vercel's native Next.js flow with no vercel.json
  • Includes Vitest and Playwright tests plus Prisma schema validation commands

Weaknesses

  • Kubeconfigs are stored as plaintext in PostgreSQL; database read access exposes them
  • Workspace runtime, skills and memory are a target model, not implemented yet
  • Any HTTPS API server address is allowed, an accepted SSRF boundary
  • v3 uses a new baseline schema and does not migrate v2 data

What it needs

  • TypeScript
  • Needs Node.js 24, PostgreSQL, GitHub OAuth App, Kubernetes cluster
  • Docker
  • env example file
  • sign-in: Better Auth
