Overview

Six SKILL.md packages (web-quality-audit, performance, core-web-vitals, accessibility, seo, and a security and code-quality skill) that guide a coding agent through Lighthouse, WCAG 2.2 and Core Web Vitals checks. They separate CrUX field data, RUM, lab traces and static inspection as evidence types. Chrome DevTools MCP is optional; without it the skills fall back to Lighthouse CLI, PageSpeed Insights/CrUX and manual checks.

Who it is for: Web developers using coding agents to audit performance, a11y and SEO

Strengths

  • Separates field, RUM, lab and static evidence instead of mixing them in one score
  • Installs via npx skills, Claude Code plugin, Codex marketplace or Gemini CLI extension
  • Stack-agnostic; covers React, Vue, Svelte, Astro and plain HTML
  • Falls back to Lighthouse CLI and PageSpeed Insights when DevTools MCP is absent

Weaknesses

  • Unofficial; not maintained by the Lighthouse or Chrome teams
  • Live audits need Chrome DevTools MCP, which is a separate install
  • No tagged releases
  • Instruction files only; results depend on the host agent following them

What it needs

  • no GPU
  • Needs Chrome DevTools MCP (optional), Lighthouse CLI (fallback), Node.js/npx for installer
  • Models: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Cursor
