Overview

Vibeyard is a desktop app that wraps Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI and Gemini CLI in a workspace with one PTY per session, a swarm grid view, split panes and session resume. It adds a per-project kanban board, cost and context tracking, a session inspector, and an embedded browser tab that sends selected DOM elements to the agent as context.

Who it is for: Developers running several AI coding CLI sessions in parallel

Strengths

  • Supports three CLIs: Claude Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI
  • Per-session cost, token and context window tracking with a session inspector
  • Kanban cards can spawn or resume CLI sessions and auto-move to Done
  • Installers for macOS, Linux and Windows, plus npm global install

Weaknesses

  • Requires at least one supported CLI installed and authenticated separately
  • Only three providers supported; others are listed as coming soon
  • Building from source needs Node v24+
  • No docs site; the README is the only documentation

What it needs

  • no GPU
  • Needs Claude Code, Codex CLI or Gemini CLI, Node v24+ (build from source)
  • Models: Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI, Gemini CLI

Quick answers
