Overview

VibeSkills is a Skill for coding agents that confirms the requirement, picks an L or XL workflow, then scans your local Skill folders and assigns a few relevant Skills to each subtask. It records completed, failed and blocked units and checks results against the plan before acceptance. The README reports a SkillsBench run with 195 Skills (DeepSeekV4Flash-VE, OpenHands): +21.12 pp mean reward, 29.6% fewer tokens.

Who it is for: Agent users with big local Skill libraries who want planned multi-step delivery

Strengths

  • Benchmark study with public data and reproduction steps is linked from the README
  • Shortlists Skills from compact local indexes; reads full SKILL.md only for retained candidates
  • Records completed, failed and blocked work units so a later session can resume
  • Works over your own, team and third-party Skill folders without calling every Skill

Weaknesses

  • Benchmark covers one model and agent setup (DeepSeekV4Flash-VE with OpenHands)
  • Requires approval steps before work starts, adding overhead on small tasks
  • Supported agent hosts are not listed in the visible README excerpt
  • README is truncated here, so install requirements are unknown

What it needs

  • no GPU
  • Models: DeepSeekV4Flash-VE (benchmarked)
