Overview
Packages Agent Skills, subagent role files, a Python `um` CLI and the fal MCP server so a coding agent can scan an installed game, pick a modding route, build a mod, generate assets with fal, test and record it. Installs as a plugin for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Copilot, Cursor and OpenCode. A `knowledge/` folder holds per-game field notes that agents contribute by pull request.
Who it is for: Modders using Claude Code, Codex or Cursor on games they own
Strengths
- Installs as a plugin or skills-only for six agents, including Claude Code, Codex and Cursor
- `um scan` fingerprints engine, anti-cheat, loaders and save folders for Steam, Epic and Xbox installs
- Engine playbooks cover Unity, Unreal, Godot, Source, Minecraft, .NET/XNA and more
- Safety rules: save backups, PID-only kills, `um publish check` blocks shipping game files
Weaknesses
- Asset generation depends on a fal API key; the alternative is a local ComfyUI server for images only
- Recording and input driving (`um win`) are Windows-specific tools
- The mod hub is listed as coming next and is not yet available
- Three-agent orchestrator team uses several times the tokens of a single agent
What it needs
- GPU optional
- Needs Git, Python 3.10+, ffmpeg, fal API key, uv (recommended), Blender (3D to sprite renders), ComfyUI (optional)
- Models: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor
