Overview
TDD Guard installs as a Claude Code plugin with hooks that check each edit. It blocks implementation written without a failing test, or code beyond what the current test requires, and tells the agent what to do instead. The README says it has grown into Probity, and new projects should start there. TDD Guard is still maintained.
Who it is for: Claude Code users who want TDD enforced on agent edits

Weaknesses
- Superseded by Probity; README tells new projects to start there
- Works only with Claude Code
- Needs a test reporter configured for your framework
- Hooks run with your user permissions
