Overview

Skills Hub is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux that keeps one library of agent Skills and syncs them to 48 supported coding tools, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode. Skills can be installed from collections, Git repositories or local folders, scoped globally or per project, and synced across devices through a GitHub, GitLab or Gitee repo.

Who it is for: Developers using several AI coding tools who want one shared Skills library

Strengths

  • Supports 48 coding tools plus custom tool directories
  • Imports Skills from Git, local folders or curated collections
  • Global or project scope, with bulk enable, disable and update
  • Cross-device sync via GitHub, GitLab or Gitee repository

Weaknesses

  • Desktop app only; no Docker or hosted server option
  • macOS may flag the app as damaged or unverified on install
  • Collections are maintained in a separate repository
  • AI management setup is a manual step in Settings

What it needs

  • no GPU
  • Needs Git hosting repo (GitHub, GitLab or Gitee) for optional device sync
