Overview

oma is a CLI and portable .agents/ directory that adds 12 specialist roles, 21 workflows (/plan, /work, /orchestrate, /ultrawork, /ralph, /review, /debug) and 33 skills to coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex CLI and Cursor. Hooks keep long-running workflows going until your own test, lint or typecheck script passes. Steps write plans, results and review findings as files under .agents/ and docs/.

Who it is for: Claude Code, Codex or Cursor users wanting structured multi-agent workflows

Strengths

  • One .agents/ directory is written into the config files of 14 agent runtimes
  • Stop gate sends the agent back to work until your test or lint script passes
  • Plans, ADRs, review findings and per-agent results are plain files you can open
  • MIT license; install via script, bun, npm or brew

Weaknesses

  • Installer writes outside the project: ~/.claude.json, ~/.serena, ~/.cursor and other vendor configs
  • Sets Claude Code defaults including skipDangerousModePermissionPrompt and telemetry opt-outs
  • Adds a co-author trailer and a commit-msg git hook unless disabled in config
  • Several workflows need the All skill preset; smaller presets lack /plan or /review skills

What it needs

  • no GPU
  • Needs bun, uv, Serena, CUE, AgentMemory, Aside browser MCP
  • Models: Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor
