Overview
mcphub.nvim manages MCP servers from inside Neovim and exposes their tools, resources and prompts to Avante.nvim, CodeCompanion.nvim and CopilotChat.nvim. It supports STDIO, Streamable-HTTP and SSE transports, OAuth with PKCE, and a marketplace for installing servers. Servers can also be written natively in Lua.

- Reads VS Code style config, JSON5, and project-local configs merged with global ones
- Multiple Neovim instances stay in sync; Lua-native MCP servers and a dev mode with hot reload
Weaknesses
- MCP roots and sampling are not supported
- Tests are listed as unchecked in the README TODO
- #variables support in Avante is not implemented
- Last release 2025-07-31; the README gives no install steps, only a docs site
