Overview
TypeScript MCP server exposing one tool per chart type (line, bar, pie, sankey, treemap, mind map, fishbone, spreadsheet and others), built on AntV. It runs over stdio, SSE or streamable HTTP, and by default sends chart specs to a hosted AntV rendering service that returns an image URL. A private rendering backend can be set with VIS_REQUEST_SERVER.
Who it is for: Developers who want their coding agent or chat client to generate charts
Strengths
- 26+ chart tools, each individually disableable via DISABLED_TOOLS
- Supports stdio, SSE and streamable HTTP transports; default port 1122
- Starts with one npx line in any MCP client config
- Rendering backend can be self-hosted using GPT-Vis-SSR via VIS_REQUEST_SERVER
Weaknesses
- Default setup sends chart data to a third-party hosted service (antv-studio.alipay.com)
- Map tools use AMap and only work for locations within China
- Private deployment does not support the three map tools
- Record viewing requires an Alipay mini program to get a SERVICE_ID
What it needs
- no GPU
- Docker + Compose
- Needs AntV chart rendering service (antv-studio.alipay.com) or self-hosted GPT-Vis-SSR, AMap service (map tools), Node.js
- port 1122
