Overview
MateCloud is a Spring Boot 4, Spring Cloud and Dubbo 3 microservice scaffold. It has gateway, auth, system and notice services and a Vue 3 admin UI. It ships 27 Starters (persistence, cache, MQ, tenancy, security, AI) and runs as a monolith or as microservices. The AI starter wraps Spring AI 2.0.1 with @Tool discovery, and mate-cli can expose those tools as an MCP server.

Strengths
- Switches between monolith (mate-monolith) and microservice deployment from one codebase
