Overview
GoLive is an Agent Skill for Codex and Claude Code that detects what an app needs, builds a plan, and applies it to your own Vercel, Netlify, Supabase, Neon, Porkbun, GoDaddy, Resend and Stripe accounts only after approval. It verifies results, checks drift with `golive status`, and removes what it created with `golive teardown`. It is early alpha (0.1.0-alpha.9).
Who it is for: Developers deploying agent-built apps to their own hosting and provider accounts
Strengths
- Every write needs an approved plan ID and --yes; DNS, destroy and live steps need extra flags
- Teardown removes only resources it can prove it created and lists leftovers as handoffs
- Validation doc separates live-tested journeys from mock-covered ones
- No GoLive account, hosted backend or product telemetry
Weaknesses
- Early alpha; built-in adapters cover only Vercel, Netlify, Supabase and Neon for hosting and data
- Install verified only for Codex and Claude Code; other clients unverified
- Credentials stored in a plaintext 0600 file, not a keychain
- Rollback is Netlify-only and not live-validated; other providers get guided steps only
What it needs
- no GPU
- Needs Node.js 20+, Git, Codex or Claude Code, Vercel or Netlify account, Supabase or Neon account
