Overview
Empryo is a coding agent with desktop, terminal and headless modes that builds a map of a repository before editing. It replaces functions or classes by name, runs typecheck, lint and tests in the same turn, and keeps per-project memory of decisions and past bugs. This repository holds only the public SoulForge v2 core and engine; the Empryo v3 desktop app is developed privately.
Who it is for: Developers wanting a repo-aware coding agent for desktop, terminal or CI
Strengths
- Edits by function or class name instead of line ranges
- Runs typecheck, lint and tests and fixes failures in the same turn
- Per-project memory of decisions and past bugs
- Same agent across desktop, terminal and headless CI
Weaknesses
- Repo is only the SoulForge v2 core; v3 app and newest features are private
- Empryo v3 license forbids selling, hosting or bundling it without written permission
- License detected as NOASSERTION; two separate licenses apply
Quick answers
Is empryo open source?
