Overview
AI DevKit is an npm CLI that writes one .ai-devkit.json and generates setup (rules, MCP servers, skills) for coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor and opencode. It adds a TUI console for running sessions, an `agent send` command that routes prompts or stdin to live agents, and a local SQLite memory exposed over MCP and CLI. It also installs skills such as dev-lifecycle, verify and tdd.

Strengths
- One .ai-devkit.json reconciles setup for 16 listed coding agents
- `agent console`, `agent list` and `agent send` supervise and message running sessions

Weaknesses
- Remote control is unavailable for several agents, including Cursor, Copilot, Cline and Devin
- Roo Code setup and opencode remote control are marked as testing
- Phase-doc workflow (requirements to testing) adds process overhead to small changes
- Does not improve model quality; README says it only raises process discipline
