Overview
Odysseus is a self-hosted web workspace that combines chat with local or API models, tool-using agents, deep research, a document editor, an IMAP/SMTP email client, and notes with CalDAV calendar sync. Agents can use MCP, files, shell, skills and memory. A model cookbook recommends, downloads and serves models based on the host hardware.

Weaknesses

- AGPL-3.0 license restricts closed-source network use
- RAM and VRAM requirements are not stated in the README
