Overview
Trae Agent is a Python CLI that takes a natural-language task and runs an LLM loop with bash, file-edit, sequential-thinking and task-done tools. It works with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Azure, OpenRouter, Doubao and Ollama, and can run tasks inside Docker containers. It records full trajectories to JSON and is built to be modified for agent research.

Strengths
- Many providers, including Ollama for local models, plus custom base_url support
