Overview

A catalog of SKILL.md-based skills (spec-driven planning, AWS advice, Playwright automation, Figma to code, security review) with an npx CLI that installs them into agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf and Cline. Skills are fetched from a CDN, cached in ~/.cache/agent-skills, and tracked with a lockfile and audit log. A companion MCP server exposes search and read tools for the catalog.

Who it is for: Developers who want vetted skills for Claude Code, Cursor and similar agents

Strengths

  • Installs to about 20 agents from one interactive or scripted CLI, copy or symlink
  • Skills scanned with Snyk Agent Scan; lockfile, content hashing and audit log
  • Optional MCP server with search_skills and read_skill for progressive loading
  • Global or project-local install, with offline cache of downloaded skills

Weaknesses

  • Mixed licensing: MIT code, CC-BY-4.0 skills, third-party skills keep own licenses
  • Attribution to Tech Leads Club is required when using the skills
  • Skills are downloaded from a CDN, so first install needs network access
  • Requires Node 22 or newer

What it needs

  • no GPU
  • Needs Node.js >=22, npm/npx
