Overview

MS-Agent is a Python SDK and harness for long-running agents. It handles planning, permissions, context compression, project memory and cron jobs, and supports sub-agents, sequential or DAG workflows, Agent Skills and MCP tools. The same agent logic runs from a CLI, a terminal UI or a browser WebUI, and the repo ships example apps for deep research, code generation and video generation.

Check where state lives (Durable Objects, Postgres, a managed platform) and whether that fits your hosting.
