Overview
HAPI wraps official coding agent CLIs (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, OpenCode, Copilot and others) and runs a hub, so you can watch, approve and continue the same sessions from native iOS/Android apps, a web/PWA client or a Telegram Mini App. Sessions move between local terminal and remote without a restart. The hub can use an E2E encrypted relay, Cloudflare Tunnel or Tailscale.
Who it is for: Developers running agent CLIs who want to monitor and approve them remotely
Strengths
- Wraps the official CLIs of ten agents instead of replacing them
- Approve agent requests from a phone; web terminal and file browser included
- SwiftUI and Kotlin Compose native clients live in the same repo
- Self-host via Cloudflare Tunnel or Tailscale, or use the WireGuard+TLS relay
Weaknesses
- AGPL-3.0 license restricts use in closed network services
- Shared Codex sessions require Codex 0.154.0 or newer
- Native apps are built from source; store availability is not stated
- No Docker or compose files; building from source needs Bun 1.4.0
What it needs
- no GPU
- Needs Bun 1.4.0 (build from source), Agent CLIs (Claude Code, Codex, etc.), Cloudflare Tunnel or Tailscale (optional)
- Models: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, Grok Build, OpenCode
