Overview
Official .NET team marketplace of agent skills, grouped into 16 plugins covering MSBuild, NuGet, EF data access, testing, upgrades, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, MAUI, WinForms and .NET AI. It installs through the plugin marketplaces of Copilot CLI, Claude Code, VS Code, Cursor and Codex CLI. It also ships GitHub Copilot custom agents and GitHub Agentic Workflows.
Who it is for: .NET developers using coding agents like Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Strengths
- Maintained by the .NET team, with 16 plugins split by area (MSBuild, NuGet, EF, Blazor, MAUI)
- Installs via marketplace in Copilot CLI, Claude Code, VS Code, Cursor and Codex CLI
- Public dashboard reports token use, elapsed time and activation rates per skill
- Skills follow the agentskills.io open standard, so they port across hosts
Weaknesses
- Custom agents (*.agent.md) use Copilot conventions and are not installed as native Codex agents
- VS Code plugin support is a preview feature and may change
- No native Codex agent files (.codex/agents/*.toml) are shipped
- Only useful for .NET work
What it needs
- no GPU
- Needs Copilot CLI, Claude Code, VS Code, Cursor or Codex CLI (v0.121.0+ for plugin marketplace)
