Overview
CCB is a multi-agent terminal UI that mounts coding-agent CLIs (Codex, Claude, Gemini and 13 other families) in visible panes and lets them hand work to each other with /ask. A background daemon keeps project state alive, and per-agent FIFO queues avoid colliding with a human's draft. It also ships an Android remote-control app and an optional rich file-browser mode.
Who it is for: Developers running several coding-agent CLIs together from one terminal
Strengths
- Supports 16 CLI agent families, mixed in one project via .ccb/ccb.config
- Native interactive panes let you take over any agent directly
- Queue mode holds agent replies while you type a draft (tested with Claude, Codex, OMP)
- Android app offers voice input, file transfer and terminal access via Tailscale Serve or LAN
Weaknesses
- Draft protection is only recommended and tested for Claude, Codex and OMP in managed tmux panes
- Queue mode is described as a first test version; Ctrl-C draft clearing can still interrupt
- Native Windows support is beta, needs WezTerm, Git Bash and Herdr, with unsigned binaries
- License is not identified (NOASSERTION) and the README excerpt does not state one
What it needs
- no GPU
- Needs tmux, Provider CLIs (Codex, Claude, Gemini, etc.), npm, Python 3.10+ (Windows beta), WezTerm (rich mode, Windows beta), Tailscale (remote mobile access)
- Models: Codex, Claude, Gemini, Pi, OMP
