Overview
A VS Code extension with a React Flow canvas for designing multi-agent workflows. It exports them as Markdown skills, agents or commands for Claude Code, Copilot, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor and others. The same workflow.json can also be driven through an npm CLI (ccwf) and a stdio MCP server (ccwf-mcp), so an external agent can read and edit workflows.
Who it is for: Developers who want to design agent workflows visually and export them as skills
Strengths
- Exports to eight agents' formats, e.g. .claude/commands, .codex/skills, .cursor/skills
- CLI and MCP server work without VS Code, usable in CI or over SSH
- MCP tools (get_workflow, apply_workflow) let agents edit the canvas
- CLI and MCP packages are MIT-licensed and published on npm
Weaknesses
- VS Code extension is AGPL-3.0-or-later, which may restrict some uses
- Agents other than Claude Code must be enabled from the toolbar More menu
- Usage examples and tutorials are listed as coming soon
- Needs a separate agent CLI or extension installed to run workflows
What it needs
- no GPU
- Needs VS Code, Claude Code or another supported agent, Node.js (for npx CLI)
- Models: Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor
