Overview

A collection of about 50 Agent Skills covering Go style, error handling, testing, security, concurrency, observability and performance, plus library skills for gRPC, cobra, viper, wire, fx and samber/*. Skills load on demand, so only short descriptions sit in context. Installs through the skills CLI, a Claude Code plugin, or by cloning into the skills directory of Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Copilot, OpenCode and others.

Who it is for: Go developers using AI coding assistants who want consistent Go conventions

Strengths

  • Works with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Copilot, OpenCode and Antigravity
  • Lists per-skill token weights, so context cost is visible before installing
  • README reports 97% eval pass with skills versus 57% without, across 3,439 checks
  • Skills load on demand rather than all at once

Weaknesses

  • Skills cross-reference each other; installing a subset gives inconsistent guidance
  • Go only; git, CI and PR workflow skills need a separate plugin
  • Eval results are the author's own benchmark
  • golang-temporal skill is still marked to-do

What it needs

  • no GPU
  • Needs Node.js (npx skills CLI), gopls (golang-gopls skill), godig (golang-pkg-go-dev skill)
  • Models: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Copilot
